Born in Busan, Korea in 1973, Jena H. Kim lives and works in New York. Jena H. Kim received her BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art and Science, and her MFA from the Yale School Art. She has had solo shows at Next Door Gallery, Seoul, South Korea and Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles, CA, USA. Awards Kim received are KAFA, Han Yongjin Art Award, and Annual Korean Cultural Center Juried Art Exhibition. Kim finished her residency at the Smack Mellon Artist Studio Program in Brooklyn in 2007 and has been a member at The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts since 2009 through December 1st, 2012.
